Organic Brazil Nuts
From: $17.50
If only organic Brazil nut trees could talk! These towering, powerful trees live up to 1,000 years, standing tall in the Amazon rainforest. Throughout history, they’ve witnessed the rise and fall of ancient civilizations like the Mayans, Incas, and Aztecs, who surely relied on their fruits for nourishment. Today, organic Brazil nuts still come from wild trees in the jungle, harvested using methods that have remained largely unchanged for centuries. Pods weighing up to two kilos fall from the trees, and workers gather them before cracking them open. Inside, they find anywhere from ten to forty Brazil nuts, each nestled in its own shell. The kernels are large and cream-colored, with a thin brown papery skin. At Royal Nut, we select only the plumpest, crispiest, and meatiest kernels, ensuring the highest quality. The flesh has a creamy texture and a fresh, sweet flavor that’s both satisfying and delicious.
